A Moorcroft Lustre Vase c1914-1916 (Burslem) by William Moorcroft Imari Approximate total weight for theAn antique lustre vase by William Moorcroft. The height is 117mm (4. 60inch). The impressed MOORCROFT and BURSLEM marks on the base date the vase to c1914 1916. The shape identification number on the base is also an impressed mark. After William Moorcroft left the James Macintyre works he set up his own factory at Cobridge on the outskirts of Burslem in 1913. This vase therefore is from the very early days of Moorcroft pottery and a genuine antique.
