The location is not identified anywhere on this image, but the University of Wisconsin has a later, 1860s copy of this same exact scene in their collection and theirs is identified as "Logging Operation, Big Bull Falls on the Wisconsin River". Ambrotype is in very good antique condition in full case, with taped spine. Carefully boxed shipping.
