Once the primary transport system for moving armaments between the wharf, magazines, and storage buildings across Newington Armament Depot and Nature Reserve, these 610 mm gauge lines now sit largely reclaimed by bush. The depot operated under Royal Australian Navy control from 1921 until 1999. Part of the Newington Armory series.
