A variegated form of the species

Hechtia montana ISI 93-40 VIPP 4-1-19 A medium sized species (apparently)A species known only from the tip of Baja California Sur. Fairly narrow, glossy leaves bear large marginal spines in a 12 to 18 inch rosette. In bright light or full sun, the leaves blush red. We had originally had this in our collection as Hechtia gayorum.
